Training -- Wed 20/02/2013

Front Squats

Deadlift

5x5x122.5kg -- All the way up until I did the last warm up set, I wasn't sure if I should go for 3x10x120kg, or 5x5x122.5kg. I think I made the right decision.

Trap Bar Shrug/GHR/Calf Raise

    As someone keen on going as heavy as unrealistic I totally agree. Good stuff.

    1. I think 5x5x122.5kg was actually the more conservative option, but it was still a grinder by the end. I'm not sure I would have actually finished all my sets if I'd gone 3x10x120kg.

      I checked over my records from October-November last year, and before I pulled 1x160kg, I was having issues with 1x3-5x120kg, so things are looking good right now.

    2. It is really good to be in PB form for competition. The issue comes if you start varying training later and still want those PBs, refusal to accept weakness anywhere keeps me going.
